My Halloween weekend plans looked bleak. Exhausted from the previous week (two midterms, the launch of Campus MovieFest, and moderating an event with Dave Eggers) I opted out of celebrating in Vegas. Then, still in Westwood, I got a migraine, putting any alcohol out of the picture. Luckily, Kevin Saul invited me to go ice blocking on Janss hill and it ended up being the best alternative college Halloween I've ever had. My clothes are soaked and covered in clumps of wet grass!
